✅ Acceptance of Terms

Masti Ki Pathshala ("the App") is provided by Masti Ki Pathshala ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of the App. By installing or using the App, you confirm that you are a parent or guardian acting on behalf of a child aged 4–14, or a child using the App with parental consent.

Children under 13 must have a parent or guardian review and agree to these terms before using the App.

📱 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the App for any commercial purpose
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

👧 Use by Children

The App is designed for children aged 4–14 under parental supervision. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the App and ensuring it is appropriate for their age.

• The parental PIN feature allows parents to restrict access to the Parent Report screen and override screen time limits.
• Daily screen time limits are set at 60 minutes by default to promote healthy usage habits.
• Parents are encouraged to review their child's learning progress via the Parent Report screen.

📢 Advertising

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. All ads are configured to comply with Google's Families Policy and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• Ads are rated G (suitable for all audiences)
• Child-directed ad settings are enabled — no personalised or behavioural advertising is shown
• Rewarded ads (optional) offer bonus XP points and are never required to progress through any activity
• Ads may be shown between activities and on the home screen

We do not control the specific content of individual ads. If you encounter an inappropriate advertisement, please contact us immediately.

💾 Data and Content

The App stores learning progress, XP points, streaks, and a child's chosen profile name and avatar entirely on your device. No personal data is uploaded to our servers.

By using the App, you acknowledge that:

• Progress data may be lost if the App is uninstalled or the device is reset
• We do not provide cloud backup for progress data
• Clearing the App's local storage will erase all progress

Educational content is created for learning purposes and is not to be reproduced or redistributed without our written permission.

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• Educational outcomes or academic results
• Accuracy of all quiz content (please report any errors to us)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

🔄 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage parents to review these terms periodically.

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
